What is
Share Stocks?
When it comes to investing in the stock market, the first investment instrument that comes to everyone’s mind is stocks. A share certificate is the name given to the negotiable instruments that capital companies give to their shareholders to document their shares and partnership. In other words, it is also seen as one of the equivalent parts of a company’s principal.
Shares also represent an ownership or partnership.
Shares do not have a standardized return and their value varies according to the company’s balance sheet earnings and investment decisions. In order to issue such shares, permission from the Capital Markets Board (CMB) is required.
The institutions that can issue shares are joint stock companies, limited partnership companies with capital divided into shares and institutions established by special law. In these cases, shares are also issued under the supervision of the Capital Markets Board mentioned above. As the most traded investment instruments on the stock exchange, shares are therefore very important for both investors and companies.
